Catering

The Hub is located at the front of the school and is the main canteen used by students during their time with us. The Hub sells hot food at breaktime, usually consisting of snack style food, including pizza slices and sausage rolls. At lunchtime the Hub sells a range of hot food, with the meal main changing each day. The main meals served include a roast dinner, lasagne, tacos, and chicken pie. The Hub also serves pasta and jacket potatoes as standing items each day, as well as a range of sandwiches. Students can also purchase drinks and cakes from The Hub.

Students will find that a ‘meal deal‘ is the most cost effective option when purchasing food. A meal deal allows them to purchase a main meal, drink and cake at a reduced price.

The Snack Shack is an outdoor outlet located near our 3G pitch. It sells cold items including drinks and cakes, and is a ‘grab and go‘ service hatch. There is often no queue at The Snack Shack, allowing students looking for smaller items to be served more quickly.

All students are provided with a fob when they arrive at the school that can be used to purchase food in The Hub and The Snack Shack. It is important students look after these, as they need to be scanned every time they make a purchase. Students usually attach these to a set of keys.

Families can add lunch money to these fobs using the Arbor App, under Payments. Sadly, we are unable to allow students to go into an overdraft through this payment system, so it is important that those wishing to purchase a school lunch do have money uploaded into their account. Students on Free School Meals have money uploaded automatically daily, which covers a ‘meal deal‘, consisting of a main meal, a drink and a cake.

This same system is used to pay for trips.
