The organisation of the curriculum at Preston School is based around five 'Schools of Learning'. Each of these provides a unique and imaginative contribution to the learning experience for students at the school. As well as subjects being taught in isolation, this structure gives the opportunity for staff and students to work collaboratively across a number of subject areas to give a broader learning and teaching experience. Eight times a year the traditional curriculum is collapsed so that year groups can spend a whole day within one School of Learning taking part in extended, cross curricular activities. These innovative days are popular with the students and play a key role in enabling them to develop their Enterprise Skills and capabilities.
